Commercial Development Advisory Committee
The role of the Commercial Development Advisory Committee (“CDAC”) is outlined in the Aboriginal Lands Trust Act 2013. The CDAC is established by the Minister and consists of members appointed by the Minister who have knowledge, skills and expertise in the areas of commercial enterprise development, property management, corporate governance, management of natural resources and management of agricultural and pastoral land.
The functions of the Commercial Development Advisory Committee are to advise the Trust in relation to its commercial activities, as well as to advise the Minister on any matter(s) relating to commercial activities of the Trust.
The Commercial Development Advisory Committee meets four times a year to review commercial activities and opportunities of the Trust.
